【摘要】:1.1ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestechnicalsafetyrequirementsandmeasurestobeadoptedbypersonsundertakingthedesignasdefinedin3.11ofEN292-1:1991,manufactureandsupplyofguillotineshearswhichareintendedtoworkcoldmetalormaterialpartlyofcoldmetalasdefinedin3.1.7andhereafterreferredasmachines.1.2Thisstandardalsocoversguillotineshearswhoseprimaryintendeduseistoworkcoldmetal,whicharetobeusedinthesamewaytoworkothersheetmaterials(e.g.cardboard,plastic,rubber,leather).1.3Therequirementsinthisstandardtakeaccountofintendeduse,asdefinedin3.12ofEN292-1:1991.Thisstandardpresumesaccesstotheguillotineshearfromalldirections,dealswiththehazardsdescribedinclause4,andspecifiesthesafetyrequirementsand/orprotectivemeasuresforboththeoperatorandotherexposedpersons.1.4Thisstandardalsoappliestoancillarydeviceswhichareanintegralpartoftheguillotineshear.Thisstandardalsoappliestomachineswhichareintegratedintoanautomaticproductionlinewherethehazardsandriskarisingarecomparabletothoseofmachinesworkingseparately.1.5Thisstandardincludesguillotineshearsinwhichenergyisimpartedtothebladebyanumberofmeans.e.g.:a)mechanicallydrivenfromamotorthroughafrictionclutch;b)throughadirectdrivemotorandbrake;c)throughhydraulicpressure;d)throughpneumaticpressure.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotcovermachineswhoseprincipaldesignedpurposeis:a)cuttinginotherthanastraightline(e.g.atnibblingmachines);b)cuttingbycontinuousactionatcrocodileshears(see3.4).1.7ThisstandarddoesnotcoverthesafetyrequirementsrelatedtotheuseofPESorPPS.Theywillbedealtwithatitsnextrevision.1.8ThisstandardisnotapplicabletomachineswhicharemanufacturedbeforethedateofpublicationofthisdocumentbyCEN.
