【摘要】:ThistestmethodcanbeusedformanufacturingqualitycontrolormanufacturingqualityassurancepurposestodeterminetheCEGconcentrationofPETyarnsusedineithergeogridsorgeotextiles.TheCEGcontentofthePETyarnsmayhaveaninfluenceonthepropertiesofthegeosynthetic,suchasitshydrolysisresistance.Thelowerthevalue,thehigherthehydrolysisresistanceoftheyarns.Thistestdoesnotsetthelimiting(maximum)valueforvariousengineeringapplications.Suchaspecificationisadecisionofthedesignengineer,owner,and/orregulator.1.1ThistestprocedureisbasedsignificantlyontheGRIGG7testprocedure,CarboxylEndGroupContentofPolyethyleneTerephthalate(PET)Yarns.1.2nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;Thistestmethodisusedtodeterminetheconcentration,inmmol/Kg,ofcarboxylendgroups(CEG)foundinpoly(ethyleneterephthalate)(PET)yarnsbytitration.1.3ThistestisapplicabletogeogridyarnsthataremadefromPETresin.Note18212;ThistestisalsoapplicabletohighstrengthgeotextileyarnsthataremadefromPETandareusedinreinforcementapplications.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
