【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestheApplicationLayerCorewhichprovidescommunicationtoolsforapplicationsbasedonDSRC.ThesetoolsconsistofKernelsthatcanbeusedbyapplicationprocessesviaserviceprimitives.Theapplicationprocesses,includingapplicationdataandapplicationspecificfunctions,areoutsidethescopeofthisEuropeanStandard.Thestandardisnamed"ApplicationLayer"although—itdoesnotcoverallfunctionalityofOSILayer7and—itincludesfunctionalityfromlowerlayers.ThisEuropeanStandardusesservicesprovidedbyDSRCDataLinkLayer,[EN12795],andcoversfunctionalityofintermediatelayersoftheOSIBasicReferenceModel[ENISO/IEC7498-1].Figure1illustratestheglobaldataflowbetweenthepartsoftheDSRCstack(Physical,DataLinkandApplicationLayers)andtheapplication.NOTEFordefinitionsofthetermsusedinFigure1see[ENISO/IEC7498-1].ThefollowingsubjectsarecoveredbythisEuropeanStandard:—applicationLayerstructureandframework;—servicestoenabledatatransferandremoteoperations;—applicationmultiplexingprocedure;—fragmentationprocedure;—concatenationandChainingprocedures;—commonencodingrulestotranslatedatafromabstractsyntaxASN.1,[ISO/IEC8824-1],intotransfersyntax,[ISO/IEC8825-2],andviceversa;—communicationinitialisationandreleaseprocedures;—broadcastservicesupport;—DSRCmanagementsupportincludingcommunicationprofilehandling.ItisoutsidethescopeofthisEuropeanStandardtodefineasecuritypolicy.Sometransportmechanismsforsecurityrelateddataareprovided.NOTEDuringthelifetimeofENV12834:1997,noimplementationoftheBroadcastPoolfunctionalityhasbecomeknown.BroadcastPoolfunctionalityisthereforeconsidereduntestedandiskeptinthisEuropeanStandardforcompatibilitywiththeENVonly.
